What Data We Collect

The Draft Decoder Assistant Chrome extension collects the following data:

• Authentication Info (Session Cookies): We collect session cookies for supported fantasy football platforms (ESPN, Sleeper, and Yahoo) when you have the extension installed and visit those sites.
• User Activity & Website Content: We detect when you make a draft pick or interact with the draft room and read the current state of the draft board (e.g., drafted players, available players, current turn).

How Data Is Stored

Session IDs and authentication states are stored locally in your browser's extension storage using chrome.storage.local. This allows the extension to maintain your connection without needing to reconnect on every page refresh.

How Data Is Used

The data collected is used strictly for the core functionality of the Draft Decoder platform:

• Session Cookies: Used to securely connect your fantasy draft session to the Draft Decoder web application, allowing the app to read your draft board on your behalf.
• Draft Board State: Used to keep your Draft Decoder draft board perfectly synchronized with the live draft taking place on the fantasy platform.

Third-Party Services

This extension communicates solely with the Draft Decoder web application. It does not send data to analytics providers, advertisers, or any other third-party services.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your data with third parties. Your data is only transmitted securely between your browser and the Draft Decoder application for the purpose of syncing your draft.

Data Retention and Deletion

Local extension storage is cleared if you uninstall the extension. You can also manually delete stored data at any time by right-clicking the extension icon, navigating to "Options", or by clearing your browser's extension data. We do not retain session cookies on our servers beyond the duration of your active draft session.

Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date of this Privacy Policy and, if the changes are significant, by updating the extension's Chrome Web Store listing.
